QUICK TIP - Mascara Application

QUICK TIP - Mascara Application

If you have ever had eyeshadow fallout on the back of your eyelashes then you know what a pain it can be to cover with mascara. Plus, your hard work can look unpolished and messy.

I have found the best way to fix this is by using a Fan Mascara Brush (my choice is the MAC 205) to apply mascara on the back of your lashes. You can even substitute with a flat or angled liner brush.

Just rub your brush along your mascara wand to get some product onto your brush. Then, use the brush to run along the back of your lashes covering the fallout. It is best to use mascara rather than say a gel eyeliner since these can weight your lashes down.

Hope that helps...it saved my life...no more unintentional pink or blue eyelashes.

  1. oh that is a great tip. I've seen ppl use the fan brush to apply custom made mascara but never thought of it for clean up. *puts fan brush on MAC wishlist*
