'Violet Mustard' Look
So I'm trying to get back into the swing of makeup and I'm not quite sure how I feel about this look just yet. I love the mustard pigment from MUFE and I'm happy I found a suitable dupe for the long-gone and long-sought after Mustard Pigment from MAC but the combo leaves me with a not so fond feeling. Anywho onwards...
I started off with NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base all over my lid up to the brow bone. I applied MAC Layin Low Paintpot (matte beige) all over my lid and on my brow bone as my primary base.
For the inner lid I applied MAC Vanilla Eyeshadow (matte ivory).
On the middle of the lid I applied MUFE #22 Pure Pigment (matte mustard yellow).
For the outer lid and crease I used MUFE #14 Pure Pigment (matte red based violet).
To deepen the outer V I used MAC Indian Ink Eyeshadow (matte dark purple).
I used Smashbox Nude Eyeshadow (matte nude) for blending in the crease.
For highlight I used MAC Ricepaper Eyeshadow (shimmery champagne).
I used MAC Blue Cyan Chromagraphic Pencil (matte cyan blue) for my lower lashline.
My brows are filled in with MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Stud.
I lined my upper lashline with Wet 'n' Wild Gel Eyeliner in Black.
I lined my lower waterline with L'Oreal HIP Cream Eyeliner in Black.
I used MAC Haute & Naughty Lash Mascara for my lashes with Beautee Senses Adventurous false eyelashes for effect.
For my lips I used Lancome Color Design lipstick in B-List topped with Lancome Lipgloss in #217.
I prepped my skin with MAC Oil Control Lotion. I used NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Tahoe for my face. I used MUFE Full Cover Concealer in #12 under my eyes set with Benefit Powderflage. I set my foundation with MAC Blot Powder in Dark.
I used MAC Gingerly Blush (matte orangey nude) for my cheeks and MUFE #2 Sculpting Kit for contour and MAC Petticoat MSF for highlight.
I'm quite sure that there was something evil in my eye or maybe I was winking? Ehem! IDK!
