'Innocent Bliss' Look

'Innocent Bliss' Look

This look turned out very soft and subtle and I have to say I liked it. It different from the usual bold colors I do but it was still colorful and fun. The colors are subdued and shimmery...look at me stepping out of my box... : )

Tip: Use a matte highlight shade when using all shimmer/frost colors on the lid. This will balance out the look so it doesn't come off overly frosty and shimmery.

Eyes:

PRIME:
I started off with NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base all over my lid up to the brow bone. I also applied MAC Layin Low Paintpot (matte creamy beige) all over my lid and up to my brow bone as my primary base.

COLOR:
On the inner lid and inner tear-duct area I applied MAC Crystal Eyeshadow (shimmery light lavender).
On the middle lid I applied MAC Aquavert Eyeshadow (shimmery light green).
Next also on the middle of the lid on top of the first color I applied MAC Rated R Eyeshadow (shimmery chartreuse green).
On the outer lid and crease I applied MAC Sauve Intentions Eyeshadow (shimmery blue).
To define the outer V I used MAC Clarity Eyeshadow (matte vivid blue).
For blending and highlight I used MUFE #76 Eyeshadow (matte camel).

BROWS:
My brows are filled in with MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Stud.

DEFINE:
I lined my upper lashline with Wet 'n' Wild Gel Eyeliner in Black.
I lined my lower waterline with L'Oreal HIP Cream Eyeliner in Black.
I use the same sequence of colors from the lid on the lower lashline.
I used MAC Haute & Naughty Lash Mascara for my lashes and added MAC #7 false lashes for effect.

Lips:

POLISH:
For my lips I used NYX Narcissus Lipstick topped with MAC True Babe Lipglass.

Face:

FINISH:
I prepped my skin with Stila One Step Correct. I used Lancome Teint Idole Fresh Foundation in Suede 1N with MAC Moisturecover Concealer in NW35 under my eyes. I set with MAC Blot Powder in Dark.
I used MAC Ripe Peach Blush Ombre for my cheeks.

  5. Girl, I must say that although I'm not afraid to try bold or subtle colors on my eyes, the lips are a nightmare to me. I think I look HORRIBLE with lip color hence I ALWAYS do different shades of neutral. I bought 4 OCC Lip Tars so we'll see how that goes

  6. Thanks so much my lovelies! I actually had fun with this bright lip since it added a op to this pale look and pale dress.

Olivia girl you need to start trying out color. I would suggest starting out with subtle pinks and going from there. I'm still afraid of dark colors and reds so I have some way togo too.
