'Starry Night' Look

'Starry Night' Look

Yep it's another glitter look. Are you guys sick if them yet? : ) I am so mad at Blogger right now...they crashed yesterday and was under maintenance for a while...but that's not why I'm so mad...I'm mad because I lost my entire review on MAC Studio Tech Foundation and I am too pissed to rewrite it now. it took so much time and now it's lost! Arrrghhh!!!

I started off with Too Faced Shadow Insurance all over my lid up to the brow bone. I applied MAC Layin' Low Paintpot (creamy beige) all over my lid and slightly into the crease as my primary base. Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush

For the lid and tearduct area I applied Magnolia Makeup Double Rice Pigment (matte yellow toned ivory). MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush
On the outer lid I used Rock & Republic Fatalistic Eyeshadow (matte black). Sonia Kaskuk Large Crease Brush
On the outer lid and crease I also applied MUFE #10 Glitter (black) and Inglot #73 Silver XL Body Sparkles using Eye Kandy Liquid Sugar. Cozzette D200 Pencil Definer Brush
For highlight I used Magnolia Makeup Champagne Pigment (shimmery light champagne). MAC 252 Large Shader Brush

My brows are filled in with MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Stud and NARS Coconut Grove Eyeshadow (matte blackened brown). Paula Dorf Eye Definer Flat Top Brush

I lined my upper lashline with Wet 'n' Wild Crème Eyeliner in Black. MAC 263 Small Angle Brush
I lined my lower waterline with L'Oreal HIP Cream Eyeliner in Black. Sigma Eye Liner - E05 Brush
I used L'Oreal Carbon Black Voluminous Mascara for my lashes and added Beautee Sense Smashing Eyelashes for effect.

For my lips I used Clé de Peau Beauté Extra Rich Lipstick in T5 (creamy coral rose).

I used Tarte ReCreate™ Anti-Aging Foundation in Walnut 20 - Sigma Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki Brush - for my face and set my t-zone with Tarte Smooth Operator™ Micronized Clay Finishing Powder - Sigma Round Top Synthetic Kabuki Brush. I used MAC Prep+Prime Highlighter in Bright Forecast topped with MUFE #12 Full Cover Concealer - Cozzette P350 Cylinder Concealer Brush - under my eyes set with Benefit Powderflage - Beauty Blender Sponge.

I used MAC Amazon Princess Blush (raspberry pink) for my cheeks - MAC 129 Powder/Blush Brush and MUFE #2 Sculpting Kit for contour - Sigma Angled Top Synthetic Kabuki Brush.

  1. Aww man, I was looking forward to that post to see how well you like or if you like Studio Tech foundation. That was my 1st MAC foundation, recommended by the MA, but I absolutley loved it. It was a tad heavy, but it gave excellent coverage and photographed well- for me anyway! Oh this eyelook is beautiful & it's office friendly!

  2. Gosh, that sucks! I'm so sorry to see that. :-(

But this look is very pretty! :-)

  3. Woah, how did you lose the review? I swear the blog post automatically saves as you're writing it?

Anyway, I hope you get that sorted soon. And fab makeup as always :D

  4. I know right Kendra! I am so mad and sad! Honestly I don't like it...oh my! But I will rewrite the post to say why. Thanks my luv.

Thanks Erin. U feel my pain.

It reverted to an early version with like 5 lines only :(. It didn't recover all that I wrote yesterday. Sux! Will have to rewrite from scratch! :(

  5. boooo blogger! I wanted to make a post yesterday and it crashed half way through...very annoying! I didn't have time to redo it, I'm already pressed for time to even sleep this week :/

I love this look though, I for one never get tired of any of your looks :) oh, and I love ur hair wavy like this. It's my fave hair look on u :)

  6. Love the look!

Next time, try typing it out in Word, that way all that work won't go down the drain unless you have a power surge or something.

But even with that, Word keeps your work saved as a draft, but I think that's only for the newer versions.
