'Ocean Pearl' Look

This look was inspired by my new Coach bag...outlet shopping is the best because you can get 50% off! I'm big on sales and discount shopping since we all need to stretch our dollars as far as we can. I like nice things but I don't like paying full price!

 

Eyes:

PRIME:
I started off with NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base all over my lid up to the brow bone. I applied MAC Layin' Low Paintpot (matte beige) all over my lid and on my brow bone as my primary base. I use MUFE #6 Aqua Color (shimmery light pink) on my lid only as a secondary base.

COLOR:
On the inner lid and tearduct area I applied MAC Pink Opal Pigment (bright white/pink duochrome).
For the middle of lid I applied the Satin Pink color from MAC Fresh & Easy Mineralized Eyeshadow Trio.
For the outer lid I used Satin Grey color from MAC Fresh & Easy Mineralized Eyeshadow Trio.
On the outer crease and brow bone area I applied the Matte Dark Blue from the Wet 'n' Wild Pride Palette.
For blending I used MUFE #76 Eyeshadow (matte camel).
For my highlight I used Wet 'n' Wild Brule Eyeshadow (matte creamy beige).
For my lower lashline I used Shimmery Dark Blue from the Wet 'n' Wild Pride Palette.

BROWS:
My brows are filled in with MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Stud and NARS Coconut Grove Eyeshadow (matte blackened brown).

DEFINE:
I lined my upper lashline with Wet 'n' Wild Gel Eyeliner in Black.
I lined my lower waterline with L'Oreal HIP Cream Eyeliner in Black.
I used MAC Haute & Naughty Lash Mascara for my lashes and added Beautee Senses Erotica False Eyelashes for effect.

Lips:

POLISH:
For my lips I used Wet 'n' Wild Think Pink 901B Mega Last^® Lip Color (light pink) topped with MAC Melt In Your Mouth Cremesheen Glass (creamy pink).

Face:

FINISH:
I prepped my skin with MAC Oil Control Lotion. I used MAC Pro Longwear Foundation in NC45 for my face set with MAC Blot Powder in Dark. I used MUFE Full Cover Concealer in #12 under my eyes set with Benefit Powderflage.
I used MAC Coygirl Blush (matte light purple pink) for my cheeks.

'Lady Gaga Vanity Fair' Look

As you can tell from the title I was inspired by a look Lady Gaga was wearing on a Vanity Fair magazine cover. It's a very soft look which makes her look so polished and refined (which I prefer on her). I must say that I now realize that it's not that I don't like neutral looks but rather that I don't like neutral brown looks. This is a great neutral look but it uses pink and purple tones and I really like it. I amped up the lips a bit more than what Gaga is wearing just because...

Eyes:

PRIME:
I started off with NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base all over my lid up to the brow bone. I applied MAC Layin Low Paintpot (matte beige) all over my lid and on my brow bone as my primary base and MAC Girl Friendly Paintpot (matte light pink) just on my brow bone as a secondary base.

COLOR:
For the inner tear duct area I applied MAC Crystal Avalanche Eyeshadow (white with silver reflects).
On the lid I applied MAC Vapour Eyeshadow (soft pale peachy-pink duochrome).
Then on the brow bone I applied MAC Yogurt Eyeshadow (matte soft pink).
In the outer brow bone area I also added MAC Pen and Pink Eyeshadow (matte light pink).
For the outer lid I applied MAC Bark Eyeshadow (matte purple brown).
For highlight I used Bare Escentuals Clear Radiance All Over Face Color (shimmery light pink).
I used MAC Sketch Eyeshadow (velvet burgundy) for my lower lashline.

I lined my upper lashline with Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner in Black.
I lined my lower waterline with L'Oreal HIP Cream Eyeliner in Black.
I used MAC Haute & Naughty Lash Mascara for my lashes with MAC #7 false eyelashes for effect.

POLISH:
For my lips I used MAC I Like It Like That Lipstick topped with MAC Melt In Your Mouth Cremesheen Glass.

FINISH:
I prepped my skin with MAC Oil Control Lotion. I used NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Tahoe mixed with MUFE All Mat Primer. I used MUFE Full Cover Concealer in #12 under my eyes set with Benefit Powderflage. I set my foundation with MAC Blot Powder in Dark.
I used MAC Azalea Blossom Blush Ombre (light purple pink) for my cheeks and MUFE #2 Sculpting Kit for highlight and contour.

And what??!! I'm going to the lab looking fab! LOL!

'Color Explosion' Look

This look it exactly as it reads - an explosion of color. I went overboard and included as many colors as I could grab. Thankfully i didn't turn out too bad but it is definitely not for the faint of heart or color-phobes.

COLOR:
On the inner lid and tear-duct area I applied MAC Blanc Type Eyeshadow (matte ivory).
For the middle of the lid I applied Inglot #58 Eyeshadow (matte vibrant green).
On the outer lid I applied Inglot #388 Eyeshadow (matte purple).
Then on the outer crease I applied Inglot #70 Eyeshadow (matte vivid blue).
Next on the inner crease I applies MAC Chrome Yellow Eyeshadow (matte bright yellow).
To define the outer V I used MUFE #26 Pure Pigment (matte black).
I used Smashbox Nude Eyeshadow (matte nude) for blending.
For highlight I used MAC Ricepaper Eyeshadow (shimmery champagne).

I lined my upper lashline with Wet 'n' Wild Gel Eyeliner in Black.
I lined my lower waterline with L'Oreal HIP Cream Eyeliner in Black.
On the lower lashline I used MUFE #7 Aqua Cream Color (shimmery hot pink), next to Inglot #388 Eyeshadow (matte purple) on the outer lashline.
I used MAC Haute & Naughty Lash Mascara for my lashes and added MAC #7 false lashes for effect.

For my lips I used MAC Lust Lipglass.

I prepped my skin with MAC Prep and Prime Skin. I used NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Tahoe with MAC Moisturecover Concealer in NW35 under my eyes. I set with MAC Blot Powder in Dark.
I used MAC Ripe Peach Blush Ombre for my cheeks.

Fresh & Easy Cut Crease Look PLUS Tutorial

Hey hey hey! So as requested I did a cut-crease tutorial showing the easy way I do it. I hope you guys actually find it easier to do than the traditional defined crease look. Let me know what you think. Here are the pictures and products and even my inspiration - you get a three-in -one!

Eyes:

PRIME:
I started off with NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base all over my lid up to the brow bone. I also applied MAC Layin Low Paintpot (matte creamy beige) all over my lid and up to my brow bone as my primary base.

COLOR:
To start defining the crease I applied Illamasqua Anja Eyeshadow (matte light blue).
For the second layer I used MAC Blue Cyan Pigment (matte bright blue).
On top of that I added Inglot #70 Eyeshadow (matte vivid blue).
To deepen the crease I added a bit of NARS China Blue Eyeshadow (matte dark blue).
On the lid I applied MUFE #6 Aqua Cream Color (matte pink) to the border of the crease.
Then I added the pink color from MAC Fresh & Easy MES (satin pink) on top of the cream base.
For highlight I used Bare Escentuals Clear Radiance All Over Face Color (shimmery light pink).

BROWS:
My brows are filled in with MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Stud.

DEFINE:
I lined my upper lashline with Wet 'n' Wild Gel Eyeliner in Black.
I lined my lower waterline with L'Oreal HIP Cream Eyeliner in Black.
I used MAC Chromagraphic Pencil in Process Magenta (matte magenta) on the middle of lower lashline with NARS China Blue Eyeshadow (matte dark blue) on the outer lashline.
I used MAC Haute & Naughty Lash Mascara for my lashes and added MAC #7 false lashes for effect.

POLISH:
For my lips I used Illamasqua Move Intense Lipgloss.

FINISH:
I prepped my skin with Stila One Step Correct. I used Lancome Teint Idole Fresh Foundation in Suede 1N with MUFE Full Cover Concealer in #12 under my eyes. I set with MAC Blot Powder in Dark.
I used MAC Pink Swoon Blush for my cheeks topped with MAC Petticoat MSF.

 'Sweet Pink Potion' Look

So I decided to try out an assortment of products from the new collections just for fun and to see how they perform overall. I am loving the texture and color payoff of the new MAC Mineralized Eyeshadows and I am liking the look of an all pink lid.

Eyes:

PRIME:
I started off with NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base all over my lid up to the brow bone. I also applied MUFE #9 Aqua Cream Color (semi-matte peachy pink) all over my lid and MAC Layin Low Paintpot (matte creamy beige) on my brow bone as my primary bases.

COLOR:
On the inner lid and inner tear-duct area I applied the first color from MAC Togetherness MES (satin lavender).
For the middle of the lid I applied the first color from MAC Fresh and Easy MES (satin pink).
On the outer lid and crease I applied Sugarpill Dollipop Eyeshadow (matte bright pink).
To define the outer V I used MAC Graphology Eyeshadow (matte blackened purple).
I used the third color from MAC Fresh and Easy MES (matte blue gray) for the inner crease.
For highlight I used MAC Ricepaper Eyeshadow (shimmery champagne).

BROWS:
My brows are filled in with MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Spiked.

DEFINE:
I lined my upper lashline with Wet 'n' Wild Gel Eyeliner in Black.
I lined my lower waterline with L'Oreal HIP Cream Eyeliner in black.
I used the middle color from MAC Togetherness MES (shimmery purple) on my outer lower lashline.
I used MAC Haute & Naughty Lash Mascara for my lashes.

I used a light sweep of MAC Hang Loose Mineralize Blush Duo for my cheeks.
