There are 4 limited edition pigments colors with the Archie's Girls Collection - 2 for Betty and 2 for Veronica. The Betty pigments are light and fun while the Veronica equivalents are deeper darker versions of the same color family.

TEXTURE & FINISH

The Betty Pigments are both frost finishes and have a high shine look to them. They are finely milled and  soft and apply really smoothly to the skin. You can use these wet or dry - when used wet they will have a more pronounced sheen/shine.

The Veronica Pigments are also both frost finishes but have a more complex look to them. When applied dry they are more of a matte black base with shimmery particles. When used wet they shimmer/shine really pops out more boldly. These pigments also apply very smoothly on the skin with the chunky feel of glitter.

PIGMENTATION

The Betty Pigments are light pastel colors with good color payoff. While they may not be bold intense colors, they still have good pigmentation when applied both wet and dry. Of course you will get more opaque color when applied wet.

The Veronica Pigments are deep colors and are intensely pigmented. However, when used dry the shimmery particles are much more subtle - to the point where the color may just seem like plain black. When used wet the shimmer stands over beautifully against the black background/base.

APPLICATION & WEAR

The usual application techniques used for any loose eyeshadow will work just as well for these pigments. A dense eyeshadow brush and patting/pressing motions are best to minimize fallout and pack on the color. They can also be applied wet using water or a mixing medium. These wear well for 4-6 hours with minimal fading.

The Betty Pigments are great for applying a light wash of color when used dry and give a more intense frosty finish when applied wet.

The Veronica Pigments when used dry the shimmery particles may disappear and fall on the face leaving behind the plain black base. When used wet the shimmer shows up well and stays intact...however, throughout wear they can fade a bit and fall out on the face.

The collection is Archie comic themed and these are pigments....not much more to say here. If you love pigments and/or love Archie comics then these will appeal to you. Some of you may hate pigments or just hate the colors or hate Archie (oh my!). If these appeal to you then I would recommend getting them....otherwise you can skip them for sure. You ever love them or hate them! Since I'm a pigment lover I had to have these! LOL!

What's your take? Do you love Archie? Love pigments? None of the above?

Cheers My Dear - Light lavender
This more of an icy pink color than lavender. I do not get any purple tint at all in this color.
(DRY/WET)

Lucky in Love - Shimmering light blue green
Again, this is more of an icy aqua color rather than blue green. It leans more light green than blue.
(DRY/WET)

Black Poodle - Blackened pink
A very deep blackened purple with slight pinky sheen.
(DRY/WET)

Magic Spells - Blackened teal
Deep blackened forest green with blue/green shimmer. Looks prettier in person.
(DRY/WET)
