Nicki Minaj 'Superbass' Video Look

This is a look inspired by Nicki Minaj's 'Superbass' music video. She wore a simple yellow look in the beginning of the video and since yellow has been a summer trend I decided to recreate the look. I had so much fun with it and I think it translates much more subtle than you would think.

Eyes: 
PRIME:

I started off with NARS Smudgeproof Eye Shadow Base all over my lid up to the brow bone. 

I first applied MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW35 under my brow to define the arch. Paula Dorf Eye Primer Brush.  

I applied MAC Layin' Low Paintpot (creamy beige) all over my lid and slightly into the crease as my primary base. Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush

COLOR:

On the entire lid I used Magnolia Makeup Tart Pigment (satin lemon yellow). MAC 239 Shader Brush

I then applied Magnolia Makeup Saffronia Pigment (matte bright yellow) over the first color on the lid. MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush

On the outer lid and crease I used MAC Samoa Silk Eyeshadow (matte soft coral orange) followed by MAC Rule Eyeshadow (matte deep orange). MAC 217 Blending Brush

To deepen the crease I used MAC Cork Eyeshadow (matte medium brown) followed by MAC Cross Cultural Eyeshadow (matte deep brown). MAC 217 Blending Brush

For blending I used MAC Wild By Nature Eyeshadow (matte camel). MAC 217 Blending Brush

For highlight I used Magnolia Makeup Double Rice Pigment (matte yellowed ivory). MAC 252 Large Shader Brush 

On the lower lashline I applied and smudged MAC Eye Pencil in Pinkie (matte pink) topped with MAC Cool Pink Pigment. Cozzette Eyebrow/Mini Shader D230 Brush

BROWS:

My brows are filled in with MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Strut and MAC Embark Eyeshadow (matte reddened brown). Paula Dorf Eye Definer Flat Top Brush

DEFINE:

I lined my upper lashline with Benefit Babe Cake Liner in Black. MAC 263 Small Angle Brush

I used Smashbox Lash DNA Mascara for my lashes and added Miss Adoro #79 Eyelashes for effect.

Lips:
POLISH:
For my lips I used MAC Pink Friday Lipstick (satin barbie pink) topped with MAC English Accents Lipglass (creamy pink).

Face: 
FINISH:
I primed my skin with Inglot Under Makeup Base. I used NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Tahoe - Sigma Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki Brush - for my face and set my t-zone with MAC Skinfinish Natural in Dark - Sigma Round Top Synthetic Kabuki Brush. I used MUFE #12 Full Cover Concealer - Cozzette P350 Cylinder Concealer Brush - under my eyes set with Benefit Powderflage - Cozzette S150 Cylinder Setting Brush.

I used Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Amused (matte bright pink) for my cheeks - Cozzette Contour Stylist S135 Brush.
