Eyes:
PRIME:
I applied NARS Pro Prime Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base all over my lid up to the brow bone. I then applied MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC45 under my brow and on my browbone area - Bare Escentuals Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush. I then applied Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer in Tan on my entire lid area - fingers :).

COLOR:
For the lid area I applied Makeup Geek Peach Smoothie Eyeshadow (matte peachy nude). NARS 03 Eye Shader Brush
For the outer lid and crease I applied Illamasqua Drama Eyeshadow (matte charcoal grey). Cozzette D330 Stylist Illustrator Brush + MAC 242 Small Shader Brush + MAC 217 Blending Brush
To deepen the crease area I applied Rock & Republic Fatalistic Eyeshadow (matte black). Cozzette D330 Stylist Illustrator Brush + MAC 242 Small Shader Brush + MAC 217 Blending Brush
For highlight under my brow I used Two Cosmetics Bare Eyeshadow (matte nude). MAC 252 Large Shader Brush
For the outer half of my lower lashline I used Rock & Republic Fatalistic Eyeshadow (matte black). MAC 242 Small Shader Brush

BROWS:
My brows are filled in with MAC Pencil in Brunette and Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Ebony (matte brown). Paula Dorf Eye Definer Flat Top Brush

DEFINE:
I lined my upper lashline with Wet 'n' Wild Mega Eyes Creme Eyeliner in Black. MAC 263 Small Angle Brush
I used L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara for my lashes and added Miss Adoro #79 Eyelashes for effect. Duo Lash Adhesive.

Lips:
POLISH:
First I lined my lips with Sephora Collection Nano Lip Liner in 17 Funky Fuchsia.
Then I used MAC Pink Nouveau Lipstick (creamy bright pink) topped with MAC Pink Nouveau Lipglass (creamy bright pink).

Face:
FINISH:
I primed my skin with MAC Oil Control Lotion - hands. I used Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H in 460 Suede W - Sigma Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki Brush - for my face and set my t-zone with BareMinerals READY™ SPF 15 Touch Up Veil in Tinted - face puff.

I used Tarte Smooth Operator™ Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer in Tan - Sonia Kashuk® Core Tools Synthetic Pointed Foundation Brush - under my eyes set with Ben Nye Banana Powder - Beauty Blender Sponge.

I used NYX Matte Bronzer in Dark Tan (matte bronze) topped with NARS Casino Bronzing Powder (dark brown with golden shimmer) for my cheeks - Cozzette Contour Stylist S135 Brush.

Eyes:

For the lid area I applied MUFE #74 Eyeshadow (matte coral rose). MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush
For the outer lid and crease I applied MUFE #74 Eyeshadow (matte raspberry pink). MAC 242 Small Shader Brush
To deepen the crease area I applied Sugarpill 2AM Eyeshadow (matte berry purple). MAC 242 Small Shader Brush
For highlight under my brow I used Two Cosmetics Bare Eyeshadow (matte nude). MAC 252 Large Shader Brush
Then to my lid area I added MAC Pink Glitter with Lit Cosmetics Clearly Liquid Glitter Base. MAC 242 Small Shader Brush

BROWS:
My brows are filled in with Anastasia Brow Wiz Pencil in Brunette and Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Ebony (matte brown). Paula Dorf Eye Definer Flat Top Brush

I lined my upper lashline with MAC Acrylic Paint in Black Black. MAC 263 Small Angle Brush
I used L'Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara for my lashes and added Miss Adoro #38 Eyelashes for effect. Duo Lash Adhesive.

Lips:

For my lips I used MAC Viva Glam Nicki Lipstick (creamy coral pink) topped with MAC Ensign Lustreglass (shimmery peach).

I have been missing from the whole makeup world for a while and what better way to come back than to replicate the MAC Viva Glam Nicki makeup look from the new MAC Viva Glam campaign for 2012. I always love the makeup looks on Nicki Minaj and I am an avid supporter of the MAC Viva glam campaign. This is a great cause and to top it off a great lipstick. Go and out get it if you haven't already :)

Inspiration

Eyes:
PRIME:
I applied Lorac Behind The Scenes Eye primer all over my lid up to the brow bone. I then applied MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW35 under my brow and on my browbone area. Bare Escentuals Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush

COLOR:
On the browbone area I applied MAC Wild By Nature Eyeshadow (matte camel) to help with blending. MAC 252 Large Shader Brush
For the entire lid I applied Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Color in GR708 - Moss (shimmery lime green). MAC 242 Small Shader Brush
On top of that I applied MAC True Chartreuse Pigment (matte chartreuse green). MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush
In the crease I applied MAC Outre Eyeshadow (matte camel). MAC 252 Large Shader Brush
For the inner the crease I used MAC Rule Eyeshadow (matte deep orange) and MAC Chrome Yellow Eyeshadow (matte bright yellow). Sonia Kashuk Large Crease Brush
For highlight under my brow I used MAC Blanc Type Eyeshadow (matte ivory). MAC 252 Large Shader Brush
On the lower lashline I applied MAC Hi Def Cyan Chromagraphic Pencil (matte cyan blue) topped with MAC Clear Sky Blue Pigment (matte robin's egg blue). Cozzette P325 Precision Lip Brush

My brows are filled in with MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Stud and NARS Coconut Grove Eyeshadow (matte blackened brown). Paula Dorf Eye Definer Flat Top Brush

I lined my upper lashline with Benefit Babe Cake Liner in Black. MAC 263 Small Angle Brush
I lined my lower waterline with L'Oreal HIP Cream Eyeliner in Black. Sigma Eye Liner - E05 Brush
I used Sleek MakeUP Lash Out Mascara for my lashes and added Kiss Beyond Natural 03 (KPE35) Lashes for effect. Duo Lash Adhesive

I primed my skin with Boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel - hands. I used MAC Matchmaster Foundation in 7.0 - Sigma Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki Brush - for my face and set my t-zone with MAC Studio Careblend/Pressed Powder in Dark - face puff.

I used MUFE #12 Full Cover Concealer - Cozzette P350 Cylinder Concealer Brush - under my eyes set with MAC Studio Careblend/Pressed Powder in Medium Deep - face puff.

I used MAC Bite Of An Apple Blush (matte coral red) for my cheeks - Cozzette Contour Stylist S135 Brush and MUFE #2 Sculpting Kit for contour - Sigma Angled Kabuki Brush.

Ahhhhh! I came home to discover my MAC Pink Friday Lipstick was here! Yippee! I was excited about this lipstick even though it has been getting some dings in the beauty world.

This lipstick has been compared to MAC Pink Nouveau Lipstick (Nicki's previously fave lipstick) and MAC Snob Lipstick and for me it comes off as a beautiful blend of both these colors. MAC Pink Nouveau Lipstick is a bright fuchsia pink that may be a bit too bold for some while MAC Snob Lipstick is a much lighter bubblegum pink which can come off a bit too light and stark on darker skin. MAC Pink Friday Lipstick is the perfect mix of both of these lipsticks to produce a much more wearable shade.

MAC Pink Friday Lipstick is the perfect Barbie pink for me and I will be picking up a couple more for sure. Swatches online have shown this lipstick to look stark against the lips but this is far from the case in real life. It's a medium cool toned barbie/bubblegum pink that I think will be perfect for tanned ladies and my darker skinned lovelies. Plus I think it is true to the color I see in the tube (and in Nicki's pictures) again contrary to what others have said.

Did I luck out to get an awesome tube or am I missing something? I think it may be my warm undertones and darker skin that plays up the color but I think this will look great on a variety of people. Tanned beauties may pull this off better as will warmer undertones (yellow undertones). This is now my fave lipstick to supplement my beloved MAC Blooming Lovely Lipstick.

The Satin description means great color payoff and a smooth semi-matte finish. Be sure to exfoliate lips when using shades like this since it can accentuate dead skin and lines in the lips. It's creamy enough to not require a lipgloss on top and will not be as drying to the lips as a matte finish.
