'The Mix Challenge' Look

'The Mix Challenge' Look

I decided to challenge myself to a little game...

The challenge is to mix up my makeup and see how many different brands and textures I can get mixed into one look...this is what I came up with...

Want to take the challenge with me? Get details and more pics...

Look Breakdown...

Eyebrows:
I filled my eyebrows in with Make Up For Ever Waterproof Eyebrow Corrector in No. 4 (dark brown black)

Eyes:
I started off with Urban Decay Primer Potion in EDEN all over my lid up to the brow bone.
Then I grabbed Smashbox Halo Hydrating Perfecting Shadow Duo in Bisque/Almond (matte ivory/ matte warm brown), using Bisque for my inner lid.
Followed by MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in Mayhem (Base: dirty brown gold) on the middle of my lid, Inglot Cosmetics Eyeshadow #482 (deep blue frost) on the outer lid.
In the crease I used Illamasqua Powder Eyeshadow in Anja (matte sky blue) with NARS Eyeshadow in China Blue (matte royal blue) in the outer V and lower lashline.
For my highlight I used MAC Eyeshadow in Ricepaper.
I lined my upper lashline with Wet 'n' Wild MegaEyes Crème Eyeliner in Black and lower waterline with Loreal Hip Color Truth Cream Eyeliner in Black. I used CoverGirl LashBlast Mascara in Very Black on my lashes with some beauty store brand eyelashes (style is Vibrant but no brand here)

Face:
I used MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NC45 with MAC Select Cover-Up Concealer in NC45 under my eyes. I set with MAC Loose Blot Powder in Dark. For blush I used LORAC Baked Matte Satin Blush in Velvet Rope (plum rose).

And at the end of it all I used 10 different brands altogether and 5 different textures. Not a bad mix at all!
