OPI Russian Navy Suede NAILS

OPI Russian Navy Suede NAILS

Did you guys get into the suede nail polish trend this summer? I picked up a few of the Suede nail polishes from OPI months ago but I didn't remember them until today. These nail polishes have a much different finish from regular polishes. The polish itself is packed with shimmer and dries down to a matte finish. The overall effect is intended to look like suede but to me it looks more like nu-buck. I personally love the effect but they don't wear very well past a couple of days.

This is OPI Russian Navy Suede Nail Lacquer - no top coat in order to keep the suede finish.

Greige Nails

Greige Nails

Hey guys! So by now you may have all heard about the greige craze that is sweeping nails all over the world. It's a new fashion fad and obsession with grey/beige nailpolish colors. I must admit that I like the concept and the color and I'm rocking it right now. To add a bit of Fancy style I have an accent nail on each hand featuring a darkly polished nail with chunky sparkles. How do you guys like the fad???

Accent Nails - Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Nail Lacquer in 380 Night Flight topped with Color Club Nail Lacquer in Covered In Diamonds.

Orly Royal Navy - NAILS

Orly Royal Navy - NAILS

So I've cut my nails down and I am growing them out naturally...no more acrylics for me. And to keep from being bored I have been trying out nail polishes left and right.

So OMGosh! I ran into the best navy blue polish I could ever lay my eyes on and I had to share this one for sure - ORLY Royal Navy! Ahhhhh!

It's so gorgeous! It's like an electric navy blue color and is just bam in your face! It's so weird that it is a dark blue but is still almost neon. Oh divine! There is tiny turquoise shimmer throughout the navy blue base but it's not overwhelming at all. if you love blue nail polish at all then go check this out. I bought mine at Ulta.

OPI Shrek Forever After Collection - Spring 2010

OPI Shrek Forever After Collection - Spring 2010

This is a new OPI nail polish collection for Spring 2010 that celebrates the upcoming movie - Shrek Forever After. The collection has great bright spring colors that are perfect for the season and even for summer as well! They are have nifty fun names based off the Shrek characters which I think really suits the theme as well as the movie. BTW I LOVE Shrek!!!!

I picked up 4 of the colors:
  • Fiercely Fiona - I would describe this as a green toned yellow
  • Who The Shrek Are You? - To me this is a true chartreuse green color
  • Ogre-The-Top Blue - This is a true bright electric blue
  • Funky Dunkey - This one is a great deep grape color
