I need to factor in the shipping because these palettes are not available in the US (as yet...rumors are they are coming to the US very soon) and you will need to pay for international shipping. Honestly I don't think the shipping is outlandish either since they are coming from the UK afterall. Now obviously the more products you purchase the better the deal will be since the $13.50 shipping cost covers the entire purchase. Plus you can combine your order with friends to break up the shipping costs.
The Oh So Special Palette retails for $12.60 per palette which is quite a deal. You get 12 eyeshadows that contain 1.1g of product each for a grand total of 13.2g of product. Compare these to M∙A∙C Eyeshadows which are $14.50 for 1.5g of product. Even with shipping these amount to less than $2 per eyeshadow. Quite a steal.
These are considered drugstore makeup in the UK....our equivalent of say NYX or Wet 'n' Wild. They are priced closer to NYX palettes rather than Wet 'n' Wild (no one beats WnW prices).
Purchasing
The Oh So Special Palette is available in the UK at Superdrug Stores but for beauty lovers in the USA we are only able to order these palettes from the Sleek MakeUP website. However, there are plans to supply Sleek MakeUP in US stores very soon so be on the lookout for that!
Packaging
The palette sports the sleek makeup logo on the front and a label on the back indicating the name of the palette, the ingredients and all that jazz.
One thing that I love about Sleek MakeUP is the fact that they listen to feedback from bloggers and customers. The eyeshadows palettes previously did not come with individual names for the eyeshadows which of course can be a bit tedious in our beauty world of swatches and looks. Sweat no more!
The palettes now come with a clear plastic insert sheet that bears 12 names for the eyeshadows! Perfect! Now it's easy to reference the colors without creating your own labeling scheme. Now I will say that even though this is a huge improvement for sure, you may mix the inserts up if you own a few of these palettes plus you may lose the sheet accidentally (or on purpose) once you start using the product. I have written the palette name on each insert to keep from swapping them with others. Maybe Sleek MakeUP will step it up a notch and add a label with the names on the back on the palettes or even imprint the names on the inside. This sounds a bit costly though so who knows....
Product & Performance
The Oh So Special Palette is a great peach toned neutral palette with a perfect mix of mattes and shimmery colors. What I think is really cool about the palette is that if you split the palette between the first 6 shadows and the second set, you get both a DAY and NIGHT palette in one!The first six eyeshadows are light and fun pinks with neutral tones which would be perfect for daytime looks. The second 6 eyeshadows. The second 6 eyeshadows are deeper darker neutrals to switch up your look for a more sultry nighttime look. The well thought out part of this palette is the use of matte shades for highlight, crease and blending colors and shimmery shades for lids colors - there are 7 mattes shades and 5 shimmery shades altogether.
These eyeshadows are all silky smooth and swatch even the matte shades. These colors are smooth and creamy without bothersome fallout since there are no glittery shades in the palette. The shimmery shades are definitely more pigmented than the mattes but all the colors have decent to strong pigmentation. All the colors apply well and last hours over a good primer/base. They also apply and blend extremely easily with each other and even other eyeshadows.
The lighter shades may be a little too light for deep skintones but for light to medium deep skintones will get a thrill from this palette - I found the prefect blending shade in this palette for an NC45 skintone such as mine :)
Overall
This is a great neutral palette for Daytime and Nighttime looks and will work perfectly for a variety of skintones. There is a great assortment of colors and finishes. The colors are pigmented and wonderfully smooth. You may find duplicate colors here if you already own other Sleek MakeUP palettes such as the Storm Palette - silver, deep brown, black. But I think overall this is a great option to grab if you want to try Sleek MakeUP palettes or if you are already IN LOVE with them!

I love this palette! I was lucky enough to snatch the last one up in a Superdrug in London a couple of weeks ago. Gorgeous shades! I paid £6.49 for it though.
