The NYX Macaron Lipsticks (Lippies) are available for purchase online at Ulta and in Ulta stores as well as online at NYX Cosmetics. You can also find these lip lacquers wherever NYX products are sold either in local beauty supply stores or drugstores.

The NYX Macaron Lipsticks (Lippies) are packaged in semi-shiny flat-ended black tubes with a clear center and decorated with the NYX logo and product name. The clear center reveals the color of the lipstick inside. There are round labels at the bottom of each tube that indicate the shade name. The tubes are functional but not the most secure or sturdy quality.

SCENT & TASTE

The NYX Macaron Lipsticks (Lippies) have a generic lipstick scent that is not overwhelming. The scent wears off and there is no discerning taste to the products.

COLORS/SHADES

The NYX Macaron Lipsticks (Lippies) come in 12 shades including neon shades and trendy pops of color. There are an assortment of fun colors that I think will give the makeup trend lover enough variety to create a multitude of looks.

TEXTURE & FINISH

The NYX Macaron Lipsticks (Lippies) are creamy in texture with a semi-matte finish.

PIGMENTATION
All the shades have great pigmentation except for Citron (MALS07) and Orange Blossom (MALS02) which, even with layering, still apply sheer. All the other shades have opaque color with one to two layers.

APPLICATION & WEAR

The NYX Macaron Lipsticks (Lippies) apply nicely and stay creamy throughout wear. They fade gradually and do not leave a stain behind (except for Violet). They are however not long wearing as claimed. They wear roughly 3 hours before they start fading.

The NYX Macaron Lipsticks (Lippies) are fun lip products at an affordable price. These are fun bold colors for spring and summer. I recommend trying these out if you want to test the waters with the new pastel and neon lip trends!
